SPF Makes a Difference

There are many non-believers in the SPF framework and what it does, then there are some that do. Some maybe asking what is SPF? What does it do? SPF is short for Sender Policy Framework. The job of SPF is to protect customers against email forgery, for example someone saying you@yourdomain.com but it’s not actually originating from your mail server, but a mail server somewhere.
SPF helps battle that to ensure that email forgery can’t happen to your site (provided that it’s installed). Some great information about the SPF records can be found on: http://www.openspf.org/Introduction
We’re happy to say that all our Virtual Private Servers (VPS), and all Shared Hosting Accounts come with SPF records to battle spam; just something extra that we offer to increase customer security by default.
Just a small something to show how we are improving customers hosting experience…
