"green hosting" is refering to where the hosting provider is buying BACK the credit for electricity they used. They buy credit from green energy source like solar power or wind power provider. THese provider sell electricity to electric company.

Basically, they are using the same electricity grid as everyone do. Their server still plug into wall socket, and wall socket still link to electric company. 

This is an INdirect relation. Buying the green electric to compensate the electricity you used (from electric company). So, here is the GREEN refering too.

off-course.. solar power connect to server, that is suicide... and 16 hours downtime per days :D is what we see :D</description>
