RealMetrics — A company that rocks!

The other day, I was speaking with Rick Ralston (You totally have to speak with him… his ideas are awesome!) and we were talking about HostICan and it’s position in the hosting industry. However, we got to the topic of “Web Speed” and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that HostICan “By far the fastest web speed we have ever seen. It has settled back down to level that is still higher than anyone we presently have listed.”

Below I have included a Graph for you guys to review (Orange is HostICan’s Base-Host Plan, and the Grey “was” the fastest webhost).
 

Can you picture that?! — I was like WOW! (To be honest, I still kind of am… but that’s awesome). I think all these improvements that we are doing to HostICan to help our customers and affiliates are really working. Below are some new upcoming features for 07:

• HostICan Live Status - A service where you can view all HostICan Servers (within reason) being polled every 60 seconds. This should provide everyone with a Looking Glass into the HostICan network.
• Promotions - I know! in 2006 we didn’t have as many promotions as we could have. However, in 07 I will be working hard to tripple them! You will see many of them which will help all affiliates convert even more!
• Checkout - A Brand new checkout process is being built, even shorter and faster then the current one!
• Affiliate Banners - We have change our banner designs, and they will be more fresh and young looking!
